We at Man & Machine have been manufacturing specialty hardware products since 1982. Today, the core of our portfolio is waterproof keyboards and mice. We are still owned by our original founder Clifton Broumand. We take pride in building quality products developed for the best usability. Customers based in Europe are supported by our office in Haarlem, the Netherlands.

Hygiene and infection
prevention
All our products may be cleaned with soap
and water and most with hospital approved
surface disinfectants. All products may be wiped,
sprayed, rinsed, and even immersed for proper
cleaning. Some may even be sterilized or
exposed to HPV. Our designs combine a flattened
surface where germs cannot hide with full key
travel and tactile feedback. The best result in
hygiene as well as usability. We count on you
cleaning the product like you would any other
high-frequency touch surface in the same room
for the best infection prevention result.
Although our products are not medical devices,
in order to provide evidence of their special
suitability for use in the medical field, various of
our products have been subjected to and passed
the EMC test in line with the strict criteria of
EN 60601-1-2: 2015 also known as 4th Edition.
We refrain from using antimicrobial coatings.
There is no evidence that they help infection
control and there are concerns about their
environmental impact and influence on the
increasing problem of antibiotic resistance.
Resistance
We build computer keyboards and mice with
65 to 68 IP rating for specialty environments
where dustproof, water-resistant or even fully
waterproof is a requirement.
