Mont Blanc Mobility
Who we are
The first QUADRIX, created in 2006, was the brainchild of several persons with reduced mobility who imagined an all-terrain wheelchair (ATW) that they could use to practise mountain sports.
The driving forces behind the QUADRIX concept were Jean-Luc Fumex and Jean-Pierre Lacombe, a well-known name in the cycling industry, followed by the company MONT BLANC MOBILITY.
Jean-Luc Fumex is paraplegic himself and used his own network of reduced-mobility contacts to develop and test the products for the public concerned. People with disabilities are the best judges of their own needs and are in a better position to identify those needs and endorse the solutions chosen.
The aim is to provide pleasure, independence and accessibility to persons with reduced mobility by combining innovation, quality and customisation.
User-centred design is at the heart of MONT BLANC MOBILITY staff’s vision for the QUADRIX. Their aim is to:
Design and commercialise products that are both fun and sports-oriented, to provide real independence and pleasure to their users.
Offer customised adaptations to cater for any specific difficulties certain customers may encounter
Offer the broadest possible access to QUADRIX products for people who would never have dreamed of being able to use them, through constant innovation
Remain attentive to new needs expressed by our customers by keeping in close touch with the network.
The ultimate aim of this approach is to create quality products and services to optimise our users’ satisfaction.
