WISAP Medical Technology

WISAP Medical Technology GmbH was founded in 1959 in Sauerlach/ Germany by Dr. Kurt Semm, a German gynecologist. Semm is considered to be the founder of the laparoscopic way of surgery. WISAP still manufactures instruments and devices with the focus on gynecological laparocscopy and offers a wide range of insufflators, suction and irrigation systems, units for visualization, morcellators as well as lap and gyn instruments. One of the company's major developments is the "Cervix Coagulator", an electrothermal system for the treatment of CIN 1-3.
